The Inception of Delta Clothing
Delta Clothing was founded with a clear vision: to deliver high-quality apparel to global markets. Initially focused on exports, we forged strong partnerships with international brands through consistent quality and reliability. Our footprint extended across Europe, the UK, Germany, and Australia, establishing Delta as a trusted global export partner.
Marking Our Domestic Presence
As organized retail began to shape the Indian landscape, Delta ventured into the domestic market. Mr. Sanjeev Shah, partner at Delta Clothing, founded the domestic division. A dedicated manufacturing facility and local operations team were set up to serve this growing sector. This pivotal move opened doors to collaborations with leading retailers, including the Landmark Group’s Max and Arvind Brands. Within a year, We secured the prestigious Westside account under Tata Trent, a significant achievement.
Becoming a Key Domestic Player
By 2011, Delta had firmly positioned itself in the Indian apparel space, working with a diverse brand portfolio that included Flying Machine, U.S. Polo, Ed Hardy, Cherokee and FILA. That same year, we earned our first major accolade (Westside’s Best On- Time Performance award).
Industry Recognition at the Highest Level
Delta, being one of the largest partners, was exclusively invited to Tata Trent’s board meeting in Dubai, alongside our design team, to present our business model and operational strengths. We highlighted our fast turnarounds, agile systems, and design-led approach, and had the privilege of engaging directly with Mr. Noel Tata, marking a proud moment in our journey.
Transition to Delta Cottons LLP
In a significant evolution, Mr. Sanjeev Shah, Co-Partner and founder of the domestic division with over three decades at Delta seamlessly took over as the Owner cum Managing Director of Delta Cottons LLP. This transition marks a renewed strategic direction to serve both international and domestic markets, blending legacy and expertise with forward-looking ambition.
